This vegetarian is a former Playboy Playmate of the Year and boasts several acting credits. She is best known, however, for her marriage to one America’s leading ladies’ men.
Kimberly Conrad (the Hefner would be added later) was born on August 6, 1963, in the Southern United States. Growing up, the Conrads divided their time between Nevada and British Columbia, leading the Canadian media to mistakenly report that Conrad was a native of Canada.
The tall, thin, and undeniably gorgeous blonde had her first taste of fame when she was named as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in 1988. The following year, in 1989, she earned the title of Playmate of the Year. Other ladies that have held this title include the late Anna Nicole Smith; Jenny McCarthy, the current playmate of Jim Carrey; and Corrina Harney.
The publicity surrounding Conrad at this time, including the release of calendars and videos featuring the Southern beauty, also allowed her to appear on The Howard Stern Show. The short-lived television series was hosted of course by the now iconic and controversial shock-radio host Howard Stern. She also appeared in a single episode of Highway to Heaven, the successful 1980s television series starring Michael Landon and Victor French.
Despite her success as a model, it is her personal life for which Kimberly Conrad is best known. In 1989, she married Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy. The media pounced on the event, vocalizing their doubts that the Hef could ever settle on just one woman. Known for being promiscuous, his past loves have included a long list of Playmates including Shannon Tweed, Brande Broderick, and Patti McGuire, along with many, many others.
Despite media and public doubts, the couple’s marriage lasted ten years, which was impressive for the notorious womanizer. In fact, reports often suggest that Conrad was the one to stray from the marriage, while Hugh remained loyal. They had two children: Marston and Cooper, before their separation in 1999.
Despite the fact that the couple has been separated for several years now, fascination with Kimberly and Hugh’s relationship persists. Conrad has participated in several recent documentaries surrounding her life at the mansion, and a television movie titled Hefner: Unauthorized was released at the time of their separation in 1999. Rebecca Romijn plays Kimberly Conrad, the only woman it seems, who successfully tamed the wild Hugh Hefner for any length of time.

During her successful career, the beautiful Kiana has added a multitude of titles to her portfolio. Cheerleader, actress, model, television show host, virtuoso piano player, and wife and mother are just a few words to describe the star.
Kiana Tom was born on March 14, 1965, in Maui, Hawaii. Kiana is part Chinese, Hawaiian, and Irish, and her name means calm water. She began her career as a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders, the popular California football team.
Much of Tom’s career has been focused on the fitness industry, earning her the nickname ESPN Fitness Queen. She began working with the fitness industry in 1988 as a host for the instructional fitness serious BodyShaping. Focusing on weight training, cardiovascular health, and proper nutrition, the long-running series has also included among its hosts Jennifer Dempster and Cory Everson. Supermodel Kathy Ireland also made occasional cameo appearances on the series.
In 1995, Kiana capitalized on her success and audience appeal to host her own fitness series. Kiana’s Flex Appeal also focused on the principles of good health through regular exercise and proper diet. Since hosting her own show, Tom has gone on to develop her own fitness franchise. Her signature line includes fitness books, clothing, and instructional videos. She has hosted the Fitness America Pageant Series on television, and her contributions to the world of fitness and exercise have been recognized by the United States Sports Academy and several publications. She received the United States Sports Academy Eisenhower Award, and high profile publications like USA Today, Fit Magazine, and Cosmopolitan, have praised both the quality of her advice and television broadcasts.
Aside from her position as reigning fitness queen, Kiana has also appeared in Playboy, joining the ranks of other Playmates like Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, and Donna D Errico. In 2002, she appeared not only on the cover of the magazine, but also in a nude pictorial between the covers. She co-hosted the ESPN X Games, which features competitions in less-conventional sports like BMX biking and skateboarding. Kiana has also found her way on to the big screen with a co-starring role in the 1999 film Universal Soldier: The Return. The action-packed, sci-fi film also starred Jean-Claude Van Damme and Michael Jai White.
In her personal life, Kiana is also a wife and mother. She was married in March of 2002 to Dennis Breshears. She met the fireman when she sought help after being bitten by a dog. The couple has had two daughters: Anelalani, born in 2002 and Asialea, born in 2006. But don’t expect this new mom to exit the spotlight just yet. She still has dreams of being a superstar, and fans will probably be seeing her beautiful and exotic face and body for a long time to come.

This former professional wrestler was named Diva of the Decade, and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) named her Babe of the Year an impressive three times. She retired from professional wrestling in September of 2006. This ultra-fit Canadian beauty has claimed a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for holding more titles than any other female wrestler.
Trish Stratus was born Patricia Anne Stratigias on December 18, 1975, in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She is best known for her professional wrestling career, which lasted from 2000 to 2006.
Trish was first noticed by the WWF as a co-host for Live Audio Radio, a Canadian talk show focusing on professional wrestling. After being trained by former wrestler and pro trainer Ron Hutchinson, the die-hard Hulk Hogan fan was ready to enter the ring.
In March of 2000, she made her first WWF appearance on an episode of Saturday Night Heat. Soon after, she took on the role of manager, a common position for new wrestlers, for Test and Prince Albert. The duo was better known as T&A. Trish was frequently dragged into the action, finding herself the target of wrestlers and teams like The Dudley Boyz, The Big Show, Chyna, and Rikishi. She teamed up with T&A to battle The Hardy Boyz and Lita. After T&A broke up at the end of the year, Trish became involved with the soap opera world of the McMahons.
The saga had Trish becoming romantically involved with WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, who was in the process of divorcing his wife Linda. The resultant drama had Stratus facing off against Vince’s daughter, Stephanie McMahon Helmsley, and this fight was the first to really showcase Stratus’s abilities in the ring. The McMahon situation ended with a fight between Vince and son Shane, and Stratus then began focusing on wrestling full time.
After teaming up with past rival Lita to defeat Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson, Trish suffered an injury the following night that would put her out of commission for four months. Her return was triumphant. She defeated Lita, Mighty Molly, Jacqueline, Ivory, and Jazz to win her first WWE Women’s Championship.
During her remaining years as a pro wrestler, Stratus would go on to win a record seven Women’s Championships, several of those with RAW, the organization which she joined at the end of 2002. Although she lost the title briefly over the years, she always managed to win it back, and her victories include those against Lita, Molly Holly, Christy Hemme, and Melina. Her final fight took place in September of 2006. She won her final RAW match against Mickie James. It remains to be seen whether any future female wrestlers will surpass her as the world record holder for the most championship titles.
Aside from being a high profile female wrestler, Trish is also a fitness model. The lean and in-shape Stratus has appeared on the cover of many top magazines including Total Women’s Fitness and Musclemag. She teamed up with fellow diva Stacey Lynn to release the calendar series “Dream Team.” Reportedly, Stratus was repeatedly asked to appear in Playboy (founded by Hugh Hefner) but turned down the offer.
In her romantic life, Trish is nothing like her wrestling persona, who was frequently changing boyfriends and getting in the middle of bad situations. Her husband is Ron Fiscio; the couple married in September of 2006, after meeting in high school and dating for sixteen years.

Playboy’s 2006 Playmate of the Year, Kara Monaco, was born on February 26, 1983, in Lakeland, Florida. Growing up in Florida, Monaco enjoyed gymnastics and dance, and later on worked as a bartender and swimwear and lingerie model. Her signature drink as a cocktail slinger was called “sex with an alligator,” and was a mix of Malibu, Midori, and pineapple juice topped with Jager. Monaco also worked at the Magic Kingdom for four years, playing Cinderella, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, and the Little Mermaid in shows and parades.
In 2004, Monaco hooked up with Playboy when she was chosen Playboy’s Sexiest Bartender of the year, and appeared on the cover of the magazine’s girls of summer edition later that year. After being named Playmate of the Month, Monaco was named Playmate of the Year in 2006, for which she received $100,000, a car, and a sports motorbike along with the title.
For her Playmate of the Year spread, Monaco was able to contribute her own ideas for the concept. Based on a shoot previously down with Carmen Electra, Monaco was photographed on a mirror, resulting in a double image of herself.
In 2005, Monaco branched out into appearing in a series of home fitness videos, ENVY, under the name “Vala.” A self-confessed health and fitness nut, Monaco specialized in leg toning in the video. She currently works out three to five times a week, and was also featured in FHM and Men’s Fitness magazines.
Monaco has appeared on the E! reality TV series, The Girls Next Door, alongside the house’s three permanent fixtures, Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson, and Bridget Marquardt. Monaco was also previously a resident of the house, owned by Playboy patriarch, Hugh Hefner. A fan of reality television, Monaco enjoys watching The Real World, The Surreal Life, and Meet the Barkers; however, she is reluctant to star on a reality show herself, preferring to stay on the other side of the screen.
In addition to modeling, Monaco (who is of no relation to Kelly Monaco, Miss April 1997) has also starred in the 2006 music video for Willie Wisely’s song “Stayin’ Home Again,” as well as appearing on the small screen in an episode of CSI: Miami, and a pilot for a drama about NFL cheerleaders starring Judd Nelson called Sideliners, currently being pitched to networks.
For guys out there wondering how they can pick up a Playboy playmate, Monaco’s advice is to stay sincere. “I just want a guy to come up to me and say hi, without all the pickup lines and pretending. Just do something normal.”
