After marrying, splitting, getting back together, and then splitting again, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler are officially done with each other.
The couple, which was featured in MTV’s Meet the Barkers, is now officially divorced according to papers received by TMZ. Barker, the former drummer for Blink 182 confirmed the rumors.
He told People this past weekend, “I’m no longer with her. We were actually divorced a few days ago.”
The divorce had been filed in August, 2006, but in early ‘07 the couple said they were reconciling. Things looked up for Barker and Moakler until last July when the couple again appeared to be heading toward splitsville. Moakler, a former Miss USA and Playboy model confirmed that they’d separated a second time, telling People, “I think the demise of a marriage is like a death, and there is a mourning that goes with it. It’s devastating.”
The two have been separated ever since, and now each is officially single.
But Barker won’t be able to soon forget about what he had with Moakler (besides two seasons of an MTV reality show). When asked if he’d found love since the divorce, he said, “I have a beautiful daughter at home, a beautiful son at home. That’s where my head is at right now. I don’t have time for anything else.”
He was referring, of course, to Alabama, 2, and Landon, 4, both the drummer’s and the model’s kids.
Moakler has another daughter with boxer Oscar de la Hoya, Atiana, 7.
Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner is trying for a baby with his 21-year-old girlfriend Holly Madison.
The 81-year-old Playboy founder and his blonde partner are so desperate for a baby they are spending nearly all their time having sex.
She said: “We do want a baby. There has been lots of trying - lots of trying!
“My perfect Valentine’s Day present would be a house and a kid.”
Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson — better known as Hugh Hefner’s trio of blonde girlfriends from E!’s “The Girls Next Door” reality series — will appear for the third time on the cover of Playboy.
“It kinda happened by accident,” Hefner told The Associated Press. “It was not the original plan. I knew we were overdue for a cover featuring the girls. For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the Internet of who should be on the top of the list. Lo and behold, as the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list.”
Madison, Marquardt and Wilkinson will be featured together in three different covers for the “25 Sexiest Celebrities” issue. In the newsstand edition cover image, out Feb. 8, the women are clad in glittery lingerie in front of a starry backdrop.
Of all the wild sights the Super Bowl’s entourage has brought to the Valley, this may be the spectacle we’ll remember for all time: Hugh Hefner at age 81, hip-hopping on a dance floor surrounded by wide-eyed 20-something blondes, his gray locks bopping to the beat.
Hef’s sexy, swanky retro Playboy bash in Chandler Saturday night drew a similarly wide-eyed crowd that ogled famous revelers like Tiki Barber, Alyssa Milano, Heroes’ Milo Ventimiglia and The Hills’ Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad, who wore a sequined zebra-stripe mini-dress.
Hef, chief girlfriend Holly Madison and the other Girls Next Door held court on the dance floor beneath a slideshow of vintage Playboy stills. Ladies and gentlemen: The man still has moves. He is particularly fond of making “ooh” and “aah” faces while dancing.
