Not someone who initially springs to mind as a typical Playboy Bunnygirl, and certainly not for posing nude……anywhere, but Candice Bergen is just that! A Playboy Bunny girl.

If appearing on the cover of Hugh Hefner’s famous men’s magazine, Playboy, is a pre-requisite for that title, then Candice fit’s the bill. But Miss Bergen wasn’t always the middle aged lady we see appearing in Sex and the City, Bride Wars, Sweet Home Alabama and Boston Legal.

Back in 1970 Candice landed the starring role in the American revisionist Western movie, Soldier Blue, in which she played the role of a beautiful young Cresta Maribel Lee, in a story that told in graphic detail of the slaughter of hundreds of American cavalry soldiers by Indians and their consequent escape. The movie also contains a mildly-risqué scene in which Bergen’s character reveals that under her self-made red dress she wears no underwear.

In 1974 Playboy magazine contained an article on Candice but it wasn’t until 1989 that Bergen made the cover of the Christmas Gala Issue of Playboy magazine wearing a crisp white shirt, a black tailored jacket and very 1980’s big hair style.
