There’s Playboy Bunnygirls and then there’s Playboy Cyber Girls. The Bunnygirls appear in print on the pages of Hugh Hefner’s men’s magazine, Playboy, and the later appear on the internet on a the premium service portion of Playboy Online.
And that’s where Tonya Cooley was first found on her Playboy photoshoot where she posed as Cyber Girl of the Week in December 2004.
Prior to her appearance on the Playboy site Tonya Cooley was mostly known for starring in several versions of MTV’s popular reality T.V. series The Real World.

Vida Guerra is probably one of the best loved Playboy Bunny girls of the past two years, appearing on the cover of the July 2006 issue of Playboy magazine and featuring a very sexy pictorial inside the magazine! Born in Havana, Cuba, Vida came to the USA with her family on a boat during the period when Cubans were leaving their home country in a bid to escape the dictator, Fidel Castro.

Coming to America was definitely the making of Guerra as she grew up on the west coast in the state of New Jersey where she entered several fashion shows modeling swimsuits and made appearances in music video. With her exceptionally feminine shape and sultry look, Vida soon gained attention from the man who is known for spotting beauty for his men’s magazine, Playboy, Hugh Hefner.
Following an incident when Guerra’s cell phone photos were leaked onto the internet, she wanted to take the opportunity to clear up the incident by showing how she really looked naked. And what a great job both she and Playboy did of that!!!

With her personal problems under control, a singing career back on track and a new look, Mariah Carey welcomed 2007 with open arms.
And in March of that year she also welcomed the invitation from Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner to appear on the cover of, and in the pictorial of, his men’s magazine as a Playboy Bunnygirl.

Although Mariah had carved out a fairly sexy persona in the world of music, she would not accept the offer to pose completely naked and agreed to the honour of being a Bunnygirl as long as she retained her modesty! With the aptly named ‘Sex & Music’ issue of March 2007 Mariah came clean about several issues that until then had remained only media speculation.

In the March issue of Playboy, the 37-year-old singer spoke openly about her breakdown in 2001 when she commented, “What happened was that people made a big deal of when my old publicist pulled the microphone out of my hand because I was venting about Howard Stern. Howard Stern had said a lot of mean stuff about me that morning, as he does about everybody every morning, and I think it really got to me. So I gained five pounds. It’s not the end of the freakin’ world. But I was exhausted, and I did collapse later. Then everybody blew it out of proportion.
When asked about her appearance as a mentor on American Idol Carey revealed, ‘I know everybody thinks I’m the poster child for American Idol, but I was really shy when I first came out as a performer….Randy Jackson of American Idol has worked with me since my first record. I’ve known him for so long, and now he’s a huge star. It’s just weird to me. We’ll get mobbed walking down the street. You know how the band is introduced at a show? My little joke used to be that he was Michael Jackson’s brother, and the crowd would believe me and go crazy.
On her concept album Glitter which never really showed Mariah at her best, she stated, ‘I try to avoid it. Actually, I don’t mind it. There are moments that make me laugh, and I don’t care…. Glitter was such a bomb, but no one ever pointed out that it came out around September 11, 2001′.

Many of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Bunnygirls go on to further careers after appearing in, and on the covers of Playboy magazine, and that’s just the case with the Playboy Bunnygirl who appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in July 1995, Sandra Taylor.
Beginning her modeling career with an appearance in Penthouse magazine, being named Penthouse’s Pet of the Month in March 1991 and as Pet of the Year Runner Up for 1993, Sandi went under the name Sandi Korn.
At the time as being named Pet of the Month Sandi was dating Buffalo Bills quarter back, Jim Kelly but as her career took off, so did Sandi.

Taylor’s next big appearance was on the cover of Playboy magazine July 1995 where she also featured in a pictorial to promote her movie career. Later, in February 1996 Sandi once again graced the cover of Playboy magazine along with Leslie Nielsen, Traci Adell and Catherine Shaw.

Sandi’s movie career began with the role of a barmaid on a train and saw her playing opposite Katherine Heigl in Under Seige: Dark Territory which starred Steven Seagal.
But that wasn’t to be the end of Sandi and the big screen. She continued to rise to the top in Hollywood where she soon gained recognition for her beauty and her acting skills and landed roles in Keeping Up with the Steins, L.A. Confidential, Runaway Bride, Raising Helen, and The Princess Diaries.
Along with movie parts Sandi also made several TV appearances on such shows as, Married With Children, ER, The King of Queens and Just Shoot Me. She has also been a frequent guest on Howard Stern’s radio show.

With her inner, and outer, beauty showing through, it was understandable that Sandi would attract some of the world’s most sought after men including actor Lorenzo Lamas, former baseball great Keith Hernandez and the son of Mohammad Al Fayed, Dodi Al-Fayed, who sadly died in the Paris car crash which also claimed the life of Princess Diana in 1997.
Sandi currently has two movies in post production, both due for release in 2009. All’s Faire in Love, which sees the Playboy Bunnygirl starring with Christina Ricci, Ann-Margaret and Louise Griffiths in a role that befit’s the Playboy beauty, Princess Jeanette, and in Group Sex, where she keeps her name, Sandy.

Known more now a days as the beautiful wife if tongue wiggling rocker, Gene Simmons, Shannon Tweed had her own equally successful career as a Playboy bunny girl back in the 1980’s.

Born in Canada, and transporting herself across the boarder to America, Shannon, 51, found that her long legs and blonde hair were to be a big hit on the modeling circuit once Playboy entrepreneur, Hugh Hefner spotted her.

Arriving at the Playboy mansion, Hef and Shannon soon embarked on a special relationship which saw Hef referring to her as “a super lady. She reminds me of Burma in Milton Caniff’s comic strip Terry and the Pirates.”

It was while Shannon was a Playboy bunny girl, gracing the covers of Playboy magazine on November 1981, June 1982, March 1985, January 1998 and being named Playmate of the Year in 1982, that she met her husband of 24 years, Gene Simmons, at one of Hef’s infamous Playboy Mansion Midsummer Night’s Dream parties. Gene is the front man for the band Kiss, known for their theatrical ability to shock audiences with drooling stage blood and leering at the camera.

Since the couple met, Shannon has had a fairly lucrative career as an actress appearing in, Life Time Movies such as, Dead Before Dawn, Naked Lies and In the Cold of The Night.
With Gene, 59, Shannon has two children, a son, Nicholas who was born in 1989 and a daughter, Sophie born in 1992.
