From a woman living a pretty unassuming life as a business woman, journalist and the wife of a congressman, Rita Jenrette could never have known how her husband’s involvement in the Abscam investigation would lead to her becoming a Playboy model.

Following the scandal involving her husband, John Wilson Janrette, Rita gave her first interview with Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine in April 1981, where she appeared as a celebrity centerfold. Then again in Playboy magazine, and on the cover in May 1984 with Phillip Anderson, an actor and model she was dating at the time.

During the first interview with Playboy, she caused a scandal when she revealed how she and her husband had sex on the steps of the U.S. Capitol during a break in an all-night House session. Rita separated from her husband in January 1981, and divorced him shortly after her first Playboy appearance.

Capitalizing on her publicity as a congressman’s wife, Rita wrote a book called My Capitol Secrets in 1981 that detailed her experiences as a Congressional spouse, and repeated the story of having sex with her husband on the Capitol steps, the night of their marriage.

Rita went on to become an on-air journalist on Fox television on which she interviewed celebrities and later found success in a real estate business.

During her days with Playboy, Rita also embarked on a mediocre movie career starring in The Edge of Night in 1981, Fantasy Island in 1982, Zombie Island Massacre in 1984, and also on stage in A Philadelphia Story in 1982 and A Girl’s Guide to Chaos in 1987.

Rita now lives in New York City, where she is a successful real estate broker. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and active in community and charitable affairs.

From Wonderbra to Sports Illustrated model, the Czech Republic born Eva Herzigova has shown off her curves since 1990 and still remains a favourite with collector’s of Playboy magazine.

Appearing in Hugh Hefner’s famous men’s magazine in August 2004, Eva chose photographer Mario Sorrenti to capture her in a nude pictorial, saying, “I picked him because of his work. It’s artsy, mysterious, feminine and sexy.”

It was Eva’s appearance as a Playboy model which also helped her launch her self titled line of swimwear in 2004.

Since her days on the catwalk and gracing the cover of the world’s most prestigious magazines, Eva realized that modeling was not a career that could sustain it’s self into her 60’s saying, ‘Ever since I was a very little girl, I’ve dreamed of acting. You can’t be a model at age 60, but you certainly can be an actress. So I’d like to be in that profession.

Embarking on an acting career, Eva has landed roles in Inferno in 1992, in Les Anges Gardiens in 1995, Amico Del Cuore in 1998. 2000 saw her as Christine in Just for the Time Being and in Twisted Tango in 2004 in the role of Eva, in Modigliani in 2004 where she played Olga, the wife of artist, Picasso.

Beginning an acting career as a child, Joey Heatherton made her first notable appearance on TV on  The Perry Como Show, which saw her playing a love struck teenager falling for Mr C. This also led to several appearances on the crooning, Dean Martin show in the late 1950’s.

As an actress, dancer and singer, Joey became a much loved celebrity back in the 1960’s and from June to September 1968, along with Frank Sinatra, Jr., she co-hosted Martin’s summer substitute musical comedy hour, Dean Martin Presents the Golddiggers. She also made multiple appearances on the many other variety shows proliferating 1960s television, such as The Andy Williams Show, The Hollywood Palace, The Ed Sullivan Show and This is Tom Jones. She first appeared on television on her father’s show The Merry Mailman, a popular children’s show in New York.

In the mid 1960’s Joey embarked on a singing career that saw her releasing 2 singles, Hullaballoo in 1965 and When You Call Me Baby in 1966. Both sold poorly but, since the 1970s, both have become very sought after in the UK among Northern Soul collectors, the second of which can now be found changing hands among dealers and collectors for three-figure sums.

In the later part of her career Joey performed in Las Vegas and acted in a few less known TV shows and films, including 1972s Bluebeard with Richard Burton in the title role, in which she appeared topless, and a starring role as Xaviera Hollander in 1977s post-Watergate scandal-inspired The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington.

In April 1997, Joey’s career took her yet another direction when she appeared nude in April 1997’s  issue of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine.
