When Hugh Hefner first came up with the innovative idea of a men’s magazine devoted totally to men’s interests and to photographs of some of the world’s most famous and beautiful women, beginning with his first issue in December 1953, completely attributed to Marilyn Monroe, little did he know that he had opened himself a Pandora’s box for a myriad of additional editions of Playboy magazine.

Among them, and by no mean the least collected was Hef’s introduction of Playboy College Girls Special Edition which is released periodically, but creating no less excitement among readers and collectors alike, than the regular monthly issues.

Among one of Playboy’s best loved College Girl models is Davin Lexen who appears on the cover of College Girls magazine March/April 2005.

Wearing just a multicolored student style scarf, Davin hides the real voluptuous curves that lie beneath and can be explored in full throughout the glossy pages of this issue of Playboy College Girls which includes the girls of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Ask any Playboy enthusiast about Diora Bird and probably the most they can tell you is that she has the curves of a Grecian goddess and the looks of an angel, but there’s more behind that innocent beauty than first meets the eye.

Diora has also made her way into the world of acting and modeling for none less than fashion house, Guess.

Diora’s resume when it comes to appearing behind the camera with lines to repeat include, Wedding Crashers with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.

Born in Miami, the daughter of yet another aspiring actress mother, Diora was soon enrolled into acting school by her mother until at the age of just 17 she decided to take her chances with the big fish and moved to Hollywood.

Although Diora’s acting career was beginning to show promise, with her appearances in Accepted and Hot Tamale in 2005, her real spring board to the big time came when she was signed by Hugh Hefner to grace the cover of his August 2005 issue of Playboy magazine as the model of the month.

To earn money while auditioning she worked at The Gap as well as a clown at children’s parties, caterer, waitress and pre-school teacher until breaking in to the modeling industry, most notably with Guess?. Her exposure increased considerably with an appearance on the cover of the August 2005 issue of Playboy magazine.

Diora is signed to Elite Model Management in Miami.

Does there come a moment in every Playboy model life’s when she feels that the heady days of visiting Hugh Hefner’s Playboy mansion, posing naked in front of adoring camera men and appearing on the cover and in pictorials in the glossy pages of the iconic men’s magazine should maybe filed away under, ‘that was my life, that was?’

Well, apparently that moment hasn’t yet hit the hippocampus of the now 62 year old DeDe Lind as she continues to pose, make public appearances and sign photographs of her ever faithful following.

DeDe was born in 1947 in Los Angeles and, although she became a child model at just 14, her main claim to fame resulted when she found adoration as a nude Playboy model in 1960 and at 19, she was selected to be the Playboy Playmate for August 1967.

With her Bust: 34″C, Waist: 21″, Hips: 33 and 5’2” height with 98lb weight, she was a favourite with Playboy collectors worldwide.

DeDe remarried in the 1970s and continued her association with Playboy and attended special events and parties, as well as Friday and Sunday night movies at the Playboy Mansion.

Lind appeared in the December, 1979, issue of Playmates Forever and, in the early 1980s, in the first “Playmate Playoffs” special issue. Her video appearances for Playboy included Race Horses and a frontal-nudity appearance on a sailing yacht. She was also the subject for “Playmates Revisited” in the March 1996 issue.

Having ‘retired’ in 1985 DeDe moved to Florida with her husband whom she divorced just three years later at which time DeDe began to appear at the Glamourcon shows in 1994.

In her own words, DeDe states on her biography, ‘When I turned 18, I finally gave in to Leon’s (her photographer friend) persuasion and he sent in some photos to Playboy magazine’s Assistant Picture Editor Marilyn Grabowski. I had always wanted to do Playboy, but I was so shy that I couldn’t imagine posing in the nude! But my ex’s new girlfriend at the time was testing for Playboy, so that helped push me past my shyness and give me the courage to try out myself. And guess what? I made it in and she didn’t! Needless to say, I got over my shyness pretty quickly after that.’

Ashlyn Letizzia is a well known beauty to the regular collectors of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine but to any new comers she may need a little introduction, of the biography kind anyway!

Ashlyn was born in Bristol, Connecticut on July 6th 1980, making her just 29 years old as she makes her cover girl appearance for Playboy’s Lingerie Special Edition July/August 2009.

With her petite statue of just 5’2”, everything Ashlyn lacks in height she certainly makes up for in vital statistics with an impressive, 32C-25-34 and weighing 108 lbs, she’s just about every guys perfect lingerie lady!

When Ashlyn isn’t posing as a nude Playboy model, for the lucky guys behind the cameras at Playboy, she is a student at the Academy Di Capelli, Connecticut, where she says once she has graduated with her cosmetology license she wants to start building up a client base and eventually wants to open my own salon.

Well, Ashlyn is gaining a huge client basis as Playboy as she is one of the many beauties enticing any red blooded men to join the Playboy Cyber Club where Ashlyn will definitely have her appointments diary full every day of the week as she received the highest marks from Cyber Club members! Yet another aspiring model who has made her way to the busy end of the Playboy photographer’s camera in Playboy’s Nudes Special Edition for May/June 2009 is the sultry, sexy, curvy Melissa Jean.

Although her full name is Melissa Jean, this Playboy model likes to go by the name, Lissa Jean since she began the exciting road as a full time model back in 2005. With a career in fine art and glamour photography it wasn’t going to be long before Lissa was picked up by the guys at Playboy who couldn’t wait to place her firmly on the cover of April/May Playboy Nudes 2009.

But even prior to gracing the cover of Playboy magazine, Lissa had a 6 page pictorial in it’s publication of Natural Beauties Special Edition in the March/April issue.

When Lissa isn’t posing in front of the camera she likes to attend pole fitness classes to maintain those sexy curves that have brought her to the attention of Hugh Hefner and his team.
