This Coed, Brittany Taylor, may not be right up there with the Carmen Electras, Pamela Andersons and Kim Kardashians of the Playboy modeling world but she sure is hoping to reach that status anytime now.

Brittany has now added, to her already impressive modeling resume the accolade of having appeared on the cover of Hugh Hefner’s College Girls Special edition for July 2009 and further tantalize readers and collector’s alike to venture inside the issue by reporting, ‘Even though many students take a mid-year break between classes it doesn’t mean that you have to go all summer without a little college girls sizzle. So to hold you over for a few months we’ve assembled an amazing crop of 18 hot coeds who are guaranteed to make the mercury rise in your thermometer and make you wish you were heading back to campus in the fall.

So, although Brittany is only 21, she certainly is gaining as much exposure (excuse the pun) as any young aspiring model can with her role as a Playboy model.

Born in Canfield, Ohio, which Brittany describes as a small town, her dream has always been to live in a big city whether it was Manhattan, Chicago, or LA. She chose to follow her heart to the Big Apple. Even though she grew up in a small town, her heart was in the city. Every time she would visit Manhattan for a fabulous girls weekend (which consisted of non-stop shopping), it just felt right and Brittany felt like she just belonged there and sites her favourite area as the East Village which is where Brittany can be found when she’s not attending the New York Fashion Institute of Technology.

One of Hugh Hefner’s transatlantic Playboy model beauties, Charlotte Lewis, was born in Kensington, London of mixed heritage with a mother of Irish decent and a father of Iraqi-Chilean roots.

As an aspiring actress, at the age of 16, Charlotte made her movie debut with the renowned film director, Roman Polanski in his 1986 movie, Pirates, in he role of María-Dolores de la Jenya de la Calde, alongside veteran actor Walter Matthau.

But Charlotte’s big break came in the form of The Golden Child where she played the role of Kee Nang in the movie that also starred Eddie Murphy and Charles Dance, also in 1986.

In 1992 she starred opposite James Spader in Storyville. But despite these early successes, her career developed only intermittently. In 2003 she starred in the film Hey DJ.

But it is her appearance on the cover of Playboy magazine that has kept Charlotte Lewis in the minds and imaginations of men worldwide as they add the July 1993 Playboy magazine to their collections.

In 1996 Charlotte was  ranked #7 in Celebrity Sleuth’s 25 Sexiest Women of that year and during her hey day, Charlotte dated Mickey Rourke, Eric Clapton, Charlie Sheen and entrepreneur Eric Haymes.

Bai Ling’s Journey Took Her From China To A Playboy Model!

It’s a long way by anyone’s standards from the People’s Republic of China to Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine, but if anyone could do it, Bai Ling could!

Born in China in October 1966, Bai (which means White) was one of three children born to a mother who’s career as a dancer and who’s father’s career was as a musician in the People’s Liberation Army, and later a music teacher, was destined for a life in the performing arts.

Bai has described herself as a very shy child who found that she best expressed herself through acting and performing and before long, she managed to pass the People’s Liberation Army’s exams, and became an “artist soldier” at Linzhi, Tibet. Her main activity there was entertaining in the musical theater. She also served shortly as an Army nurse. Three years later, she was discharged from the army.

In 1991 Bai moved to America to follow her ambition of becoming an actress which began with her role in the 1994 movie,  The Crow, playing the half-sister/lover of the main villain, Top Dollar and with Richard Gere in Red Corner in 1997, which was to be her break-out role in English film.

Being named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” in 1998 led to her being called upon by Hef to pose for her pictorial in Playboy magazine in June 2005.

But, although that was considered quite the accolade in the budding young actresses career, it was to lead to the editing of her role as Senator Bana Breemu in Star Wars Episode III, when her part was left on the cutting room floor.

Director George Lucas denied this, stating that the cut had been made more than a year earlier. Her scenes were included in the “deleted scenes” feature of the DVD release.

None of the adverse publicity has had any effect on making Bai Ling a sought after Playboy model on the cover of June 2005’s issue of Playboy magazine.
