Its not often that an ex Playboy model and bunnygirl makes headlines for much more than wearing an outrageous outfit or for dating a toy boy. But today, Miss October 1987, Brandi Brandt has hit the news as she is named as part of a major cocaine smuggling syndicate in Australia involving Sydney Airport caterers.

Brandi was named in Australian Federal Police court documents after she was caught on the security CCTV cameras at the up market, Bondi Swiss Grand Hotel after arriving from the USA aboard a flight where $1.6 million worth of cocaine was found in a trash bin in the airplane’s restrooms.

So, from Miss Playboy of the Month in Playboy magazine October 1989, Brandi Brandt could soon see herself becoming Miss 60 months in federal prison!

Playboy’s Playmate in Hugh Hefner’s October 1987 issue, was the beautiful and voluptuous, now, 46 year old Brandi Brandt. But that wasn’t to be Miss Brandt’s only appearance in and on Hefner’s men’s magazine. She has appeared in the following issues:

Between being one of Playboy magazine collector’s favourite ladies, Brandi has also found time to be an actress, a model, a wife and a mother. Brandi married Motley Crue bassist, Nikki Sixx, in 1989 with the couple divorcing in 1996 but not before Brandt became mother to three children, Gunner, Decker and Storm.

Brandi’s acting experiences included a brief appearance on Married with Children playing herself in Desperately Seeking Miss October in 1989 with Christina Applegate and Ed ONeill.

A small part in came Brandi’s way in the chick flick movie, Wedding Band, which featured Pauly Shore and Fran Drescher and again appeared in the 2001 flick Ticker, with high profile actors like Steven Seagal, Dennis Hopper, and Jaime Pressly, where she landed the role of a cocktail waitress.

Appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine issue August 1989 was a lonely experience compared with her duo with entrepreneur Donald Trump who appeared with Brandi on the cover of Playboy magazine March 1990.

There’s a new girl at the Playboy Mansion this year, Aubrey O’Day, and she doesn’t have any objections to taking her clothes off. Hot on the heels of her association with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) when she followed in the footsteps of a previous Playboy bunnygirl, Pamela Anderson, and posed naked for the cause, Aubrey has now been signed up to pose naked for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine, March 2009.

For a whopping $500,000, Aubrey will grace the cover and inner pages of March’s Playboy as the latest bunny girl, after achieving fame from being chosen by P Diddy as a band member of Danity Kane, in last year’s reality show, Making the Band 4.

Just two albums later, Aubrey discovered a more lucrative career displaying her curves, not her vocal chords, having also posed for Complex magazine in 2008.

First of all - what kind of a name is Nikki Sixx?   I guess it is a little bit better than Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna, Jr. 

 Anyway - do you have to be a heroin taking, drunk who goes in and out of rehab like a revolving door to get a Playboy Model?

Sixx was previously married to Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt with whom he had 3 children. 

Six months after his divorce from Brandt, Sixx married Donna D’Errico.  The couple has 1 child.  Sixx has another child from a previous relationship.

D”Errico and Sixx have called it quits with no financial settlement for D’Errico.  He must be a real loser if she wants out so bad she will go without a settlement.

 I don’t think we will see Nikki honored as “Father of the Year” or for that matter “Husband of the Century”.
