Its been a full year since Playboy’s Girl Next Door model, Kendra Wilkinson became Mrs Hank Baskett after she said, ‘I do’, on June 27^th 2009 at her onetime residence, the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles’s exclusive Holmby Hills, California.

Speaking to USMagazine.com, the one time girlfriend of Hugh Hefner and blonde beauty, who has graced the cover of several of Hefner’s Playboy magazine publications, said, “I can’t believe it’s already been a year.  It’s been one of the best years of my life and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

In the first year of their marriage, the former Playboy Playmate and the NFL  football star got ready for the birth of their first their first child, a son, Hank Baskett IV, who was born December 2008.

In February 2009 the 27 year old model appeared on one of three magazine covers issued that month along with Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, both of whom were guests at the couple’s wedding along with ex boyfriend, Hef!

Following in the footsteps of every other former, and current Playboy model, such as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson and Denise Richards, making appearances on TV shows to promote their assets and to keep themselves in the public eye, it comes as a bit of a surprise to hear that an ex girlfriend of Playboy magazine founder, Hugh Hefner is all set to put herself in the public eye by launching a line of candy jewelry for Las Vegas confection shop, The Sugar Factory.

Holly Madison has come up with the ‘not so original’ idea of a candy necklace with a new twist, a heart shaped centerpiece baring the letter ‘H’.
As Miss Madison featured her ‘new idea’ on her new reality TV show, “Holly’s World,” sporting her new design firmly placed between her two other valuable products, it appeared that Madison is really still trading on her days of naked photo shoots with Playboy to draw attention to her sweet creation!

Remember a time when ‘old for new’ was just applied to a home insurance policy? Well now it appears it applies to Playboy bunnies too as Holly Madison and friends are replaced by the new bunnies in Hugh Hefner’s life!

But that said, the role of a Playboy bunny certainly gives a girl a longer life expectancy in the public eye than the name ‘bunny’ would suggest.

It seems that once you’ve removed your kit for the octogenarian glamour model magnate, Hugh Hefner, life just goes from strength to strength, and a bunny’s bank account heads in the same direction.

This is proved by the one time number one girlfriend of Hefner, Holly Madison, as, on leaving the world of the Playboy mansion she headed for the Las Vegas strip where she has been starring in a burlesque show, Peepshow, as Bo Peep and has now accepted the offer of her own TV reality show, Planet Holly!

Following hot on the heels another one of Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, the first Bunny to land her own reality show, egocentrically named, Kendra,, Holly says of her new gig, “It’s the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a lighthearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler Moore, I think it will inspire other girls to always follow their dreams - whatever they might be. And then dream some more! Just because I’ve wound up in Peepshow on the Strip, I’m not stopping, and I’ve set myself five more things to achieve in life. I will never stop setting new goals because I’m having fun living life.”

But since The Girls Next Door series, featuring Holly, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, dropped the three bunnies from the series, Madison has had to find herself a new niche in which to showcase herself and now she’ll begin shooting Planet Holly on October 12th, just a day after the new season of The Girls Next Door premiers on E!, this time starring Hef’s new girls 23 year old Crystal Harris along with her 19 year old twin sister co-stars ,Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

One of the most beautiful women to ever grace the cover, and pages of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine must have been Hef’s second wife, Kimberly Conrad Hefner.

Although they married in 1989, their marriage didn’t survive past 1998 when ‘for personal reasons’, the couple parted company.

Even with the passing of the years, and knowing of the women who have come and gone in Hef’s life, he and Kimberly have never sought a divorce. The former Playboy bunny girl and Playmate of the Year, who has two sons with Hef, has always maintained, ‘we love and adore each other very much … but we don’t date each other.”  Kimberly is also adamant that their parting was not due to Hefner’s philandering ways and no one else was involved in the split.

However, there is one other little reason that keeps their relationship friendly, Hef keeps Kimberly happy with a $7 million dollar home next to the Playboy mansion, which clearly softens the reality of seeing Hef with Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and all the other Bunny girls!

The Playboy Bunnygirl who seemed to come the closest to sharing a double ‘H’ monogram on Hugh Hefner’s bed linen and towels has now moved out of the Playboy Mansion and into the arms of an angel. Criss Angel to be precise.

After many years of being Hef’s number one bunny girl, Holly Madison realized that the magazine publisher was never going to make her dreams come true by placing a diamond band on her finger, so she took the initiative to find her own piece of heaven with the Hollywood magician, illusionist, and stunt performer.

But that hasn’t stopped Holly from being invited back to Playboy to grace the cover of one of the 3 covers of the February 2009 Playboy magazine.

With two other appearances on the covers of Playboy, September 2006 and March 2008, Holly has become a regular, and much admired bunny girl. The September 2006 issue was a unique issue for Playboy with the girls being pictured from the front on the cover and a rear shot on the back cover!

Along with showing off her curves between the pages of Playboy magazine, Holly was also one of the stars of the TV series, The Girls Next Door, which also featured bunny girls, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt in a day by day peep through the keyhole look at life in the Playboy Mansion.
