It certainly is a ‘family affair’, taking your clothes off and posing for the cameras. That’s how the two younger sisters of Playboy model Kim Kardashian are following in the sexy brunette’s footsteps as have Khloe and Kourtney who can all be seen in the reality tv show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Following Kim’s meteoric rise to fame reality TV star and as the Playboy cover girl on the December 2007 issue, it’s become a family tradition becoming a model.

And now the two younger daughters of Kris Kardashian and Bruce Jenner, Kylie and Kendall Jenner have taken the plunge. Kendall, 15, made her first photo shoot recently posing in a sexy bikini shoot and has been quickly followed by younger sister, Kylie, 12, who now has a modeling campaign of her own as the face of Sears “Crush Your Style–The Search for America’s Top Style Crush” contest.

Following in the footsteps of every other former, and current Playboy model, such as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson and Denise Richards, making appearances on TV shows to promote their assets and to keep themselves in the public eye, it comes as a bit of a surprise to hear that an ex girlfriend of Playboy magazine founder, Hugh Hefner is all set to put herself in the public eye by launching a line of candy jewelry for Las Vegas confection shop, The Sugar Factory.

Holly Madison has come up with the ‘not so original’ idea of a candy necklace with a new twist, a heart shaped centerpiece baring the letter ‘H’.
As Miss Madison featured her ‘new idea’ on her new reality TV show, “Holly’s World,” sporting her new design firmly placed between her two other valuable products, it appeared that Madison is really still trading on her days of naked photo shoots with Playboy to draw attention to her sweet creation!

Did she regret it or didn’t she? Well, to any normal person it sounded like, “I’m sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable,” But to Kim Kardashian her remarks in Harper’s Bazaar meant, ‘I’m sorry that I did Playboy then, when I was in the shape that I was in.  ”Not the shape that I’m in now. Because I had lost 15 pounds.’

Talking her way out of her, ‘misconstrued’ words that got her into hot water after her appearance on the cover of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine in December 2007, Kim, almost convinced her audience that she really was, ’sorry’. But, not quite as we look at her meteoric rise to fame following nothing more than a sex tape!

On all accounts, the 29 year old daughter of deceased OJ Simpson and celebrity attorney Michael Kardashian, appeared nude at a time when she had lost weight and was concerned that she was portraying herself as a skinny model when really she, as she puts it, ‘has curves’, and didn’t want to mislead young women into thinking otherwise.

Telling HB magazine of her soul searching, prior to the shoot, Kim stated, “I was on the fence about it. Do I want to be viewed this way or do I want to show women that, hey, I am curvy. I’m not like all these like stick-skinny models that I see on the cover of all of these magazines, including Playboy. And I thought that it would be empowering. And so, I did it. And at the end, I was uncomfortable. And at the end, I had a great time.”
However, it appears that Miss Kardashian clearly got over her dilemma when the $$$$ signs starting appearing before her and she even went on to appear once again on the cover of Playboy’s Sexy 100 in May 2008.

And don’t forget, the self promoting sex tape teaser released on the Internet, in mid 2007 which depicted Kim and former boyfriend Ray-J indulging in sex acts.
From that tape both she, and her entire family, have reaped the publicity they so dearly desired in the form of the popular TV reality on E!, Keeping Up With The Kardashians!
 

As if having been on the cover of Playboy magazine, appearing in The Girls Next Door and having married NFL Philadelphia Eagles player Hank Baskett, wasn’t enough publicity for former Playboy model, Kendra Wilkinson, it now becomes apparent that she secretly set up the release of her homemade sex tape.

The internet celebrity news site, RadarOnline has revealed that it was set up by Wilkinson’s former manager, Matt Cohen, who released the tape of an 18 year old Kendra in 2008, only to be pursued through the courts for as Wilkinson publicly appeared to fight the release of the tape.

So far 24 year old Kendra has decided not to acknowledge the claims of the website however, she’s in good company with other ladies of Playboy who have also released sex tapes including, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

Hugh Hefner may well have surprised, and in some cases disappointed, his readers in the month of November with his choice of cover girl, Marge Simpson, but if rumours are to be believed he could be reprieving himself with his annual celebrity December issue.

Apparently, the American Pie actress, Tara Reid, attended a Playboy shoot recently sparking speculation that she’ll be the celebrity face of December Playboy 2009.

Tara made her trip to Playboy last week despite having had a very bad liposuction procedure five years ago which has since left her suffering with body image issues. “She is really shy about getting the Playboy gig,” said a source. “She’s scared to talk about it because of what people and the press might say. But she’s doing so well, she looks amazing.”

If 33 year old Tara is seen gracing the cover of Playboy December 2009 she will be joining an exclusive club of December cover girls which includes, Raquel Welch, Shannon Doherty, Brooke Shields and Kim Kardashian.
