She’s not the best known woman on the planet, but come December 2009 she’ll be better known than she could ever have imagined!

That’s what’s in store for the late night American chat show host Chelsea Handler as she removes her clothes for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine and holds the coveted position of cover girl December 2009.
The 34 year old Chelsea, although not well known outside the USA, is known to most American’s suffering from insomnia as the outspoken late night host who has a tongue so sharp it’s a wonder she hasn’t cut herself on it, on the show, Chelsea Lately!

Appearing with a fellow late night chat show host, Jay Leno, Handler revealed her appearance on the cover had been given severe airbrush treatment and shows her in a tiny white bikini and knee high white boots, standing in a fake snow.

In an effort to appeal to older readers, Hefner has in recent months taken to placing ladies of a more ‘mature’ age on the cover of his iconic magazine. Ladies such as Carol Alt, December 2008, Cindy Margolis July 2008 and Lisa Rinna May 2009 have all graced the cover of Playboy magazine.
The December edition of Playboy magazine also features Joanna Krupa nude.
Known for her steamy roles over the years in several Lifetime movies, Lisa Rinna has remained a sex symbol throughout her acting career to such an extent that Hugh Hefner came calling at her door in September 1998 when she was signed up to grace the cover of his Playboy magazine for that month, giving her the title of being a Playboy Bunnygirl.
Although, at the time, Lisa was 6 months pregnant, with her first child by husband Harry Hamlin, it in no way detracted from her sexuality and allure when she appeared wearing a soft pink sweater, falling provocatively off her shoulder and clearly going braless for the shoot!
Now a days Lisa is keeping herself in the public eye with the hopes of appearing in the US series, Melrose Place, which has previously starred Heather Locklear and Desperate Housewives, Marcia Cross. Lisa joined the original cast of the series in 1996 and stayed on for two seasons.
