If you were one of the Playboy magazine collectors who bought the January 2010 edition of Hugh Hefner’s glossy magazine to get a better look at actress Tara Reid, it could be the last time you get to see her in the flesh, as you’re in for a bit of disappointing news as People magazine announces, the girl of many men’s dreams is about to take herself off the market!

Yes, the 34 year old star of American Pie 2 has been dating German billionaire Michael Axtman for the past year and this week, while the two were dining at The Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles, after Axtman had spent a few of his billion dollars on a sparkling solitaire ring, he popped the all important question, and of course, Tara said yes!

Talking to In Touch Weekly the Playboy moel gushed, “I’ve always wanted that fairy-tale Cinderella look, there’s only one moment in your entire life when you can dress like that, so I want to go over-the-top. A total princes.’ She continued, “I’ve been married in movies and stuff, but it’s not like this, picking out my own dress. Seeing myself and picturing Michael at the altar, I get butterflies in my stomach’.

Tara has already enlisted Rani Totman, of St. Pucchi, to design her gown.
American Pie actress, Tara Reid is about to become every red blooded male’s favourite dessert in January 2010 as she opens the new decade as Hugh Hefner’s choice for Playboy cover girl.
The blonde actress, known for her role in both the American Pie movies and later for having suffered a botched boob job and liposuction that left her with scars on her stomach and uneven breasts, is no longer ashamed of her body as she enters her thirty fourth year and tells Channel 11 in New York, that she’s at the best age of her life “mentally, spiritually, physically,” making this the perfect time for her to pose.
Tara also told New York’s WPIX about her bad experiences under the knife, saying. “That’s part of the reason why I did Playboy, to show people, ‘Right, look at me. This is how I look now. I mean, it’s like breaking your arm, I broke my arm and everyone knew about it, and then I got it fixed. And now my arm looks great! I’m in my 30s now and I just feel that I’m at the best age in my life mentally, physically, spiritually”.
Hugh Hefner may well have surprised, and in some cases disappointed, his readers in the month of November with his choice of cover girl, Marge Simpson, but if rumours are to be believed he could be reprieving himself with his annual celebrity December issue.

Apparently, the American Pie actress, Tara Reid, attended a Playboy shoot recently sparking speculation that she’ll be the celebrity face of December Playboy 2009.
Tara made her trip to Playboy last week despite having had a very bad liposuction procedure five years ago which has since left her suffering with body image issues. “She is really shy about getting the Playboy gig,” said a source. “She’s scared to talk about it because of what people and the press might say. But she’s doing so well, she looks amazing.”

If 33 year old Tara is seen gracing the cover of Playboy December 2009 she will be joining an exclusive club of December cover girls which includes, Raquel Welch, Shannon Doherty, Brooke Shields and Kim Kardashian.

When Paris Hilton ‘agreed’ to pose for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine making her an official Playboy Bunny girl, shouting ‘fake’ was hardly in her interest as she claimed she didn’t agree to be represented as the buxom, blonde bimbo that finally made it to the cover of Hef’s March 2005 issue of his men’s magazine.
Paris erupted into a quivering mess at the site of her body having been portrayed in this manner and called it ‘fake’. But isn’t that pretty much the word that sums up the Hilton hotel heiress?

Gracing the cover, and the inner pages, of the Playboy magazine that represented, ‘25 Sexiest Celebrities’ , Paris quite willingly took herself off to the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles for the glamour shoot but on all accounts, her ‘natural’ photos came out looking like, ‘a washed-up junkie fag hag’ according to an anonymous Playboy employee and were ‘touched up’ by the aging Casanova, Hefner, in a bid to create a more alluring cover for his avid readers.
Hilton was chosen as the ‘best of the rest’ when Anna Nicole Smith, a previous Playboy Bunnygirl, was ditched for the photoshoot and the other girls up for consideration included Pamela Anderson, Tara Reid, Beyonce Knowles, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and the Olsen Twins were eliminated from the running.
With her career, (if it can be called, a career) less than flourishing at that stage, having failed as a night club owner, an actress, a singer and a designer, appearing on the cover of Playboy magazine could only have been a boost for the well known, ‘fake’ Paris Hilton!
