Charlotte Lewis: A London Playboy Model Who Returned to Her Roots!

One of Hugh Hefner’s transatlantic Playboy model beauties, Charlotte Lewis, was born in Kensington, London of mixed heritage with a mother of Irish decent and a father of Iraqi-Chilean roots.

As an aspiring actress, at the age of 16, Charlotte made her movie debut with the renowned film director, Roman Polanski in his 1986 movie, Pirates, in he role of María-Dolores de la Jenya de la Calde, alongside veteran actor Walter Matthau.

But Charlotte’s big break came in the form of The Golden Child where she played the role of Kee Nang in the movie that also starred Eddie Murphy and Charles Dance, also in 1986.

In 1992 she starred opposite James Spader in Storyville. But despite these early successes, her career developed only intermittently. In 2003 she starred in the film Hey DJ.

But it is her appearance on the cover of Playboy magazine that has kept Charlotte Lewis in the minds and imaginations of men worldwide as they add the July 1993 Playboy magazine to their collections.

In 1996 Charlotte was  ranked #7 in Celebrity Sleuth’s 25 Sexiest Women of that year and during her hey day, Charlotte dated Mickey Rourke, Eric Clapton, Charlie Sheen and entrepreneur Eric Haymes.

Charlotte has since left the limelight far behind and now lives in her home town of London where she cares for her son and her mother.




April Morgan: Another Canadian Playboy Model!

Now there’s a thing, a Canadian born Playboy model beauty, now who else springs to mind in that category, oh yes, Pamela Anderson!

And the equally as beautiful, feminine and sexy April Morgan has the title of being Canadian having been born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. It was there at the age of 16 that was discovered by the Modeling Association of Canada and was soon bestowed with the title, Canadian Female Model of the Year.

After that the world became her oyster as she made modeling her the main career interest even while attending high school.

By 1997 April represented Sweden at The Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Finals and the following year, April won the title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada 1998 and represented Canada at the International Finals held in Las Vegas where she finished in the top ten.

It wasn’t long before April drew the attention of Hugh Hefner when she was scouted by Playboy Magazine and selected to appear on the cover of the special March1998 edition entitled “College Girls” which was accompanied by as a visit to the Playboy mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

April also developed an acting career with appearances in numerous television shows such as PSI Factor, Code Name Eternity and Total Recall 2070, two ABC Movie of the Week specials including “The Marriage Fool” with Walter Matthau, Carrol Burnett and John Stamos and “A Tale of Two Bunnies” which featured April in a supporting role, playing the character of “Nancy”.

April maintains her connections with her homeland, Canada where she has worked on several movie projects such as the independent Canadian film, “Name of the Rose” as well as Hollywood blockbusters such as “Superstar” with Molly Shannon and Will Farrell and the Oscar winning picture “Chicago”. It is in Toronto that April can be seen on the ice as a speedy left winger for a Toronto based hockey team featuring various local entertainers.

April continues to model all over the world and plans to continue her acting career in both the United States and Canada.

She currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
