She’s a hot commodity right now in Hollywood, on the big screen, in several men’s magazines and now the Hugh Hefner, Playboy entrepreneur himself is himself making a play for the sultry, wicked honest, southern bell brunette.

The beautiful Transformers star and more recently the star of Jennifer’s Body, is rumored to be high on the list of Hef’s conquests for the cover and pictorial of his iconic magazine.

The 83 year old Hef, knows a good thing when he sees it and isn’t afraid to put his head on the block to achieve just what he wants and that’s why he’s hoping that 23 year old Megan will agree to his proposal but somehow we’re thinking that Megan really wont need that sort of publicity just yet with all the interest she manages to attract just keeping her clothes ON!

But if you fancy a glimpse of Megan’s cryptic shoulder tattoo, a quote from Shakespeare’s King Lear, we’re sure you’ll find many other places to admire this beauty!

It appears there’s yet another chance for fans of Charlize Theron, to catch a glimpse of the model, actress and May 1999 Playboy cover girl, naked!

Although Charlize, insisted that the photos used in her Playboy pictorial in Hugh Hefner’s May 1999 issue were illegally published, doesn’t seem to totally against showing herself unclothed, if the price is right, as is shown in her latest movie offering, The Burning Plain, which is due to hit the big screen in November 2009.

The movie also stars another hot commodity and Playboy cover girl, Kim Basinger who posed for Playboy in February 1983 and appeared in the steamy sex movie, 9 ½ Weeks in 1986.

The  photos used in Charlize’s Playboy spread were apparently taken during the early days of her modeling career and, according to the 32 year old blonde beauty, they were intended for private use only and Charlize  initiated a legal case against the photographer who sold the photos to Hefner, and she won the case!

But that doesn’t stop collectors of Playboy from admiring her tastefully posed photos when they catch themselves an issue of Playboy Magazine May 1999!

Remember a time when ‘old for new’ was just applied to a home insurance policy? Well now it appears it applies to Playboy bunnies too as Holly Madison and friends are replaced by the new bunnies in Hugh Hefner’s life!

But that said, the role of a Playboy bunny certainly gives a girl a longer life expectancy in the public eye than the name ‘bunny’ would suggest.

It seems that once you’ve removed your kit for the octogenarian glamour model magnate, Hugh Hefner, life just goes from strength to strength, and a bunny’s bank account heads in the same direction.

This is proved by the one time number one girlfriend of Hefner, Holly Madison, as, on leaving the world of the Playboy mansion she headed for the Las Vegas strip where she has been starring in a burlesque show, Peepshow, as Bo Peep and has now accepted the offer of her own TV reality show, Planet Holly!

Following hot on the heels another one of Hefner’s girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, the first Bunny to land her own reality show, egocentrically named, Kendra,, Holly says of her new gig, “It’s the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a lighthearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler Moore, I think it will inspire other girls to always follow their dreams - whatever they might be. And then dream some more! Just because I’ve wound up in Peepshow on the Strip, I’m not stopping, and I’ve set myself five more things to achieve in life. I will never stop setting new goals because I’m having fun living life.”

But since The Girls Next Door series, featuring Holly, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, dropped the three bunnies from the series, Madison has had to find herself a new niche in which to showcase herself and now she’ll begin shooting Planet Holly on October 12th, just a day after the new season of The Girls Next Door premiers on E!, this time starring Hef’s new girls 23 year old Crystal Harris along with her 19 year old twin sister co-stars ,Karissa and Kristina Shannon.

Following her third big screen appearance in last year’s mildly amusing, The House Bunny movie, Playboy model Anna Faris is once again set to fill movie theaters, but this time not for her body but for her voice over as she fills the role of weathergirl Sam Sparks, in Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, an animated feature

Anna’s second movie came out in 2000 with the first of four Scary Movies. Playing her usual  self dizzy blonde self, in the character of Cindy caught producers’ eyes.

Prior to that Anna had played a straight part in Lost In Translation, with Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray, before landing her first major lead role as the centerfold turned out of the Playboy mansion in The House Bunny.

It was Anna’s idea originally to explore what would happen when Hugh Hefner’s Bunny Girls finally had to leave the Playboy mansion.

Speaking of her idea and inspiration Anna said, “At some point, these Playboy Bunnies have got to leave the house,” she says, explaining how the idea came about. “Why do you get kicked out? Because you won’t get the eighth boob job? 

Apart from becoming a new face on the big screen Anna has also become a new wife, for the second time. Her first marriage to Ben Indra ended in 2008,  and this time the Playboy model who graced the cover of Playboy September 2008, married Bride Wars star Chris Pratt, in a small ceremony in Hawaii just three months ago.

If you’re an avid fan of Playboy’s regular monthly publications, chances are you’ve also indulged in Hugh Hefner’s Special Editions and if you have, you’ll recognize the name of Amanda Paige.

Amanda Paige, who also uses the name Amanda Paige Gellar, first appeared in the magazine’s October 2004 edition and this pretty blonde 24 year old ex University of Virginia college girl went on to grace the cover of two Playboy magazines to date and has appeared in a pictorial in Playboy’s Nudes Special Edition, Spring 2007.

Amanda was discovered by a Playboy scout before she graduated with a major in sociology.

The petite model had the accolade of being named as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in October 2005, and issue that saw her gracing the cover with a body painted top bearing the number ‘7’ and grasping an American football.

More recently Paige also made an appearance on the cover of Playboy’s magazine for the September 2007 issue.

Now attending the University of Richmond law school this fall, she’s studying entertainment law and believes her Bunny work will attribute to her success in this field. Speaking of the money she has earned as a Playboy model Amanda states,” It helps, Through doing Playboy, I got a Bunny costume, and I still do promotions.” She has recently been promoting herself in Detroit and will be in Miami in October for a Playboy Halloween party.

Paige appears at various fan conventions, most notably Glamourcon, where she greets her fans, and autographs and sells various Playboy publications containing her photos shoots!
